Meet Cadie!

Leash-trained, kennel-trained, obedience-trained — this girl has it all! Cadie is a fun, energetic 5-year-old mixed breed who weighs about 59 lbs and lives for attention, treats, and a good dress-up moment. She’s a smart cookie too: she graduated from our prison-based obedience program and knows several commands extremely well, including sit, stay, down, sit pretty, and shake. (Shake is her favorite… because treats!)

Cadie’s trainer says she is a total sweetheart who loves cuddles. She can be a little shy and cautious when meeting other dogs, so she’ll thrive best as the only dog in a patient, loving home where she can let her playful side shine.

She enjoys walks, watching Animal Planet, and even poses like a pro during her photo shoots. After a good run, you’ll find her stretching out in a shady spot for her own version of yoga. Cadie loves pets, attention, and especially butt scratches — and she’ll happily sit upright like a little meerkat if she thinks a treat is coming!
