Champ is unique in every way. He's an affectionate tripod mixed breed . He is 4 years & 3 months old and weighs 44 lbs and housetrained! He loves other dogs and will be your shadow.  Check out his video where it really shows how special Champ is!

When Champ loves, he loves hard. He likes lots of attention - rubbing on his head is his favorite thing.  He is mostly crate trained with only a little bit of whining. Champ doesn’t realize that he’s missing a leg and enjoys life.  He’s very energetic and loves walks,  running around outside, rolling in the grass, chewing bones and getting pets on his head.  He's pretty mellow inside the house.  He is not reactive to other dogs and not food aggressive. 

Champ has attended public events and was a star!  He worked the crowd like a pro and proved to be an excellent fundraiser with his special vest.  He was very friendly with his handler, the other volunteers and the other dogs. He does like to be around the action, so would thrive in a home where someone is home with him most of the day.  That will give him the company he loves. Champ would do best in a home where there is not alot of traffic in and our of the home.
