This 54-lb, 5-year-old sweetheart is one of the most affectionate dogs we have. Queenie bonds deeply and quickly with her people. She will happily follow you from room to room, lean into you for comfort, and soak up every belly rub she can get. Once you’re hers, you’ve got a devoted best friend for life.

Her foster family says it best: “She can be a very loving dog, giving all her attention to anybody who needs it.” Queenie has that special ability to tune in to her person. If you’ve had a long day, she’ll be right there. If you need company, she’s your shadow. She would make an incredible companion for someone looking for a steady, loyal presence by their side.

Queenie is a total star at events and adores meeting people. She lets everyone — including kids — give her love and will even sit patiently while you dress her up! She takes treats gently, knows “sit,” and would love to learn even more tricks (especially if snacks are involved).

She’s a medium-energy girl who is perfectly content with a couple of short daily walks in her harness and quality time with her humans. No fenced yard required — just a commitment to walks or supervised outdoor time.

Our girl has been with Canine Collective far too long and keeps getting overlooked — and we truly don’t know why. She has recently been in a foster home and has absolutely impressed her foster family with her loving personality and exceptional house manners. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, relaxes comfortably when left alone, and is wonderfully well-behaved in the home. She is not destructive and exhibits no separation anxiety.

Queenie walks calmly past other dogs at a distance, even when they bark at her. However, she prefers to be the only pet in the home — she wants all your love to herself, and she gives it right back tenfold.

Her foster family adores her but cannot keep her long term and would be happy to answer any questions about this very special girl.
