D-Lux earned his name because he's so very special, an "easy keeper". He's become used to having his human around for one-on-one time since being in foster care, and really enjoys their company, but is also independent and doesn't mind entertaining himself. If you like the idea of having a handsome house panther for a sleeping buddy, D-Lux is happy to fill that role as well. He has bursts of playful energy, chasing anything that jingles or is attached to a string. He'll pounce on unsuspecting toys from under the sheets to show his stealth hunting prowess. His personality leans toward calmly reserved, and while he can be enticed into playing, he's a stately young gentleman now and less inclined to partake in those kittenish habits. When picked up, D-Lux is like a warm blanket that you can't wait to wrap around yourself. When cuddled, he'll get right up in your face, offering loving head bunts and fuzzy face pats. Along with all of his other endearing qualities, D has this sassy wiggle to his walk that never fails to make people smile, but he wants you to know that it doesn't slow him down one bit. He sometimes has a thing or two to say about what's going on around him and will meow or murmur his thoughts on the subject. You'll also hear him calling for help if he's mistakenly left on the other side of a closed door. D-Lux has not shown interest in socializing with other cats and every indication points to him being perfectly happy as you one and only, much beloved, fur family member.
