🌟 Meet Sky, the Lovable Husky / Malamute in Search of a New Home! 🌟

Sky, a sweet and chubby 5 year-old Malamute, is ready to find her perfect foster or forever family. This affectionate girl absolutely adores belly rubs and will drop into position for them as soon as she’s out of her crate! Sky is also crate trained, making transitions smooth and easy.

Sky is strong and will benefit from a family experienced with large dogs, as she’s still learning not to pull on the leash. She’s great with kids and is docile with everyone she meets. Sky would be happy as either the only dog or with a friendly large canine companion.  She came into rescue with Sierra, both found as strays. Sierra has been adopted and Sky is waiting for the right family.  As is typical with Huskies, they have a strong prey drive, so no small dogs or kitties for her. 

Sky is a mellow, laid-back companion once she’s had her daily walks. She’s looking for a home where she can be by your side and enjoy relaxed moments of cuddles.

Sky found herself in an inner-city shelter with her sister, Sierra. For 6 weeks, they lived in kennels with little access to the outside. They were found as strays- and no one claimed them despite them appearing to be well cared for. They are sweet happy girls that will need some training and consistency - very typical huskies, only a little more mellow.  Sierra has been adopted while Sky is still waiting for the perfect family. She is great with kids and would do well in a home as the only dog, or in a home with another friendly large dog.  

Sky will make a wonderful addition to any family.
