WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals’ lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care. 

Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

NAME: Miss Piggy

BREED: Pit Bull mix

Home Recommendation:  Miss Piggy would be happiest in a home where her family is around often to give her plenty of attention and playtime. 

Personality:  Miss Piggy is the ultimate social butterfly! She adores everyone she meets and thrives on being the center of attention—this playful pup is always the "belle of the ball." After a day of zoomies and outdoor adventures, she’s ready to snuggle up for a cozy nap, whether on your lap or in her crate. Curious by nature, Miss Piggy loves exploring with her siblings, playing chase, and wrestling. The moment you’re nearby, though, she’ll drop everything for some love and affection.

KIDS: Yes, she would do great with kids.

DOGS: Yes! She loves other dogs.

CATS: Yes

TRAINING:Miss Piggy is working on her leash skills and making great progress with house training, she will rarely have an accident. She sleeps peacefully in her crate at night and is a quick learner who will thrive with consistent practice and positive reinforcement.

WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Miss Piggy and her siblings were found in a rural area down south and WISE was asked to help by good samaritans. They are now in foster homes and can't wait to find their forever homes!
