Home Recommendation: Melba is a laid-back and easygoing girl who would thrive in a home where people are around often. While she dreams of having a yard to call her own, she’s perfectly content embracing the city life and enjoying plenty of outdoor adventures.

Personality: Melba is a chill and laid-back pup who enjoys lounging on the couch and watching the world go by. She is always ready for a snuggle or will accept any pets you have to offer. She absolutely loves being outside, whether it's for a walk or just sniffing around the yard. Melba will be the first smiling face you see when you walk in the door and will be ready to greet you with a wagging tail. She’s sweet with all, a little timid at times, but responds well to positive reassurance.

KIDS: Yes, she is great with children.

DOGS: Yes, she gets along well with other dogs.

CATS: Unknown.

TRAINING: Melba is not a fan of the crate, but she is not destructive and doesn’t get into things when left out. She walks well on a leash and loves sniffing her surroundings, but she hasn’t learned to go to the bathroom on walks yet. Melba does her business in the yard and is also wee-wee pad trained.

WHY DID SHE COME TO WISE? Melba spent her life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill. When her "breeders" decided she was no longer useful, they planned to discard her. Thankfully, WISE stepped in to save her, giving her the opportunity to find a loving forever home where she can finally experience the joy of being part of a family.
