Hey there, I'm 5 month old Tate. Want to know something cool?  I have lots of cute nick names, like Sweet Potato, Tater Tot and Tater! I'm a curious, sweet and playful kitten with a knack for never meeting a stranger. Now something not so cool. You see, I was living in a house and there was a fire. I was super scared, but I used my smarts to get out of there. I had quite a few injuries like two broken teeth, burns on my toe beans, singed fur all over my body and some leg wounds from breaking through the glass window. When the rescue people came, they found me in rough shape and I was not only hurt, the place where I lived didn't have very much food for me, so I was very skinny. I got to go to the cat hospital and I've been feeling better ever since! I'm super friendly, always up for a game like pull on the elastic band toy and watch it fling back up in the doorway. That's my favorite! I'll make you laugh with my funny antics, like the way I play with my cat friend, Uncle Obie. He and I wrestle and play chase. I love him and all the other animals here in my foster home. But you know who I love the most? The humans here that are so kind. I love to just look into their faces with the best eye contact I can manage, and give them slow blinks, so they know how grateful I am. Air biscuits is another way I show my appreciation. I can't believe how lucky a little kitten like me is, and I know my furever family is out there just around the corner. I'm super loyal and a lap aficionado as I watch the show "White Lotus" with my foster person. I've been through a lot, but I'm the most adaptable kitten you will ever meet and I don't hold any grudges over what happened to me. I'm just the goodest, good boy who's looking for a new home where I can share my love and playful spirit. Will you be MY superhero and take me home? I will be very happy as a lone kitty in your house as long as you spend lots of time with me, or if you have a cat friend or 2 I can be friends with, that would be so fun!
