When Zuma was handed over, we were told he hates other dogs. Our assumption is that he was having to fend off or fight for resources, who knows. In the two days he's been in residence at our shelter, he's already starting to ease down about other dogs and plays well with those that are his size. We'll be waiting until after he's neutered to dog test him, but he shows promise. Zuma is also very excited about treats and time in your lap.

Zuma is Heartworm positive. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
