Deer really could just be "Dear." This sweet girl has had it rough, you can tell from her body condition. She has missing fur and some scaring but that doesn't change her outlook on life. She isn't a big fan of getting medical care, but she will eat anything put in her bowl. She's a little more subdued than her pal, Luna, and really enjoys just sitting in your presence. She hasn't played with toys yet, but we'll see how that turns out as she decompresses from her rescue. 

Deer is Heartworm positive. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
