5 months, Male, Large
Alvin, Simon and Theodore were found crammed in a crate at a bird show in Millersburg, Ohio. They are the result of a backyard breeding accident. They are 17 weeks old. Mom is a pure German Shepherd (80 lbs) and dad is pure Blue Australian Shepherd (45 lbs). A rescue volunteer could not walk away once she heard they have been living in a barn and had never seen grass. She was told they had to get rid of them ASAP.
Alvin is a gorgeous boy. He is very smart and eager to please. He loves working on new tricks. He has mastered sit, stay, down and leave it. Alvin is a playful puppy with typical puppy energy. He would love a fenced yard and a doggy friend to play with. Alvin sleeps well in his crate all night and keeps his crate clean. Alvin is working on potty training and has made great progress since arriving in the home of his foster. Alvin walks well on leash. He is however very interested in chasing after squirrels and cats. Alvin has been great with kids of all ages. Alvin is UTD on his shots. The adoption fee for Alvin includes the neuter surgery and a microchip at our partner veterinarian when he is old enough to be spayed.
