Puff is cute and fluffy. She is playful and snuggly. Puff is working on potty training, crate training and leash training. Mom is a brindle boxer mix, around 50 pounds. We expect Puff to be at least that big. Dad is unknown. Mom (Brinley) was surrendered to our rescue and delivered 10 puppies on April 12.
It was recently discovered that Puff may be deaf or at a minimum very hard of hearing. Puff would benefit from a forever family with another dog companion to serve as a role model. In her foster home, Puff with was very happily following after her two siblings and playing with them to such an extent that we did not suspect that she may be deaf until after her siblings left for their forever homes. We do not recommend a house with young children for a deaf dog. Deaf dog adjust quickly to their situation and can be very successfully trained with hand signals. There are many available resources to families with deaf dogs. Apply now to meet this sweet girl at ricopetrecovery.org.
The adoption fee for Puff is $350. The fee includes the fist two sets of puppy vaccines and the spay and microchip at our partner veterinarian when she is old enough to be spayed. The adopter is responsible for 3rd and 4th sets of puppy vaccines and all subsequent vet care at their own veterinarian.
