Little Benjamin was found running in a granite quarry. He was severely matted, covered in hundred of ticks and hungry. You can see the condition in which he was found in the last picture. Benjamin was trapped by a Rico volunteer and taken to the groomer and veterinarian. Benjamin is estimated to be about a year old, and probably a dachshund mix. He has the long sausage body to show for it! Benjamin is a sweetheart! He loves to cuddle with people and other doggy friends. He is working on potty training and has made good progress in the home of his loving foster. Benjamin would prefer a home with a doggy companion but would be ok as an only boy provided the humans are home often. A fenced yard is a must for this explorer! Benjamin is up to date on his vaccines and is neutered.
