Meet Hamburg, a 16 week old mixed breed who looks like a wire haired terrier. Hamburg and his two brothers T-Bone and Pork Chop are known as the "Meat Pups". The pups and their mom were abandoned by their “owner” in Kentucky. A good Samaritan brought them to safety and eventually to Ohio. Mom fed the pups well and they are thriving. Hamburg is the "middle child" in weight and is currently 19 lbs. 

Mom was a 45 lb wire haired terrier type (see pic). She looked like a wolfhound but is not near the size you would expect. She had striking blue eyes and some of her progeny have that same look. Hamburg  has slight wavy hair, brown eyes, and of course a brindle coat.  We think he gets his brindle coloring from his mysterious dad.  Hamburg is a typical pup and has shown an affinity for toys, especially balls.  He is a curious fella and likes to play with his brothers.
