General is a soft, gentle, 11 year old beagle, boxer, St Bernard mix who weighs 45lbs. He has the softest fur ever. Our boy does shed but it is well managed if he gets brushed every few days...if General had it his way, he'd be pampered every single day and multiple times a day. He absolutely loves being brushed! He would much rather have lazy days inside enjoying the AC than spend a lot of time outside. He will go out and do his business and come right back in. This boy is very chill and mellow and just wants to be with his people! He does get anxious and have some separation anxiety when his humans leave the house so a home with someone who works remote or a home where someone is home a lot would be ideal for General. He coexist with his fur foster dog...they play for a short bit and then go do their own things the rest of the day. He is chill with his human foster siblings (9 and 12 yrs old) and let's them use him as a pillow when it's time to relax and watch some TV or a movie. He is potty trained and crate trained too! He knows basic commands like sit, down, stay, and come. He's not a fan of car rides but enjoys taking walks with his people. He's got some achy joints but who doesn't get achy as they get older?
