Wrangler is looking for a walking buddy. He is an approximately 15 month old Bernese Mountain Dog. He loves to go on walks more than anything. He also loves dogs. He is indifferent to cats. He is fine with all children but does not play with them. He is crate trained, house trained and neutered. Unfortunately, he came to us from a bad situation and with a heart worm infection. He recently completed his treatment and needs to stay calm for the next few weeks. Fortunately, he is a calm and well behaved boy. He will need a patient owner who is willing to give him the love and care he never received. He is still fearful of many things including doorways and strange dogs, and stairs  and occasionally needs to be led by a leash or carried. He has slowly making progress but will need someone that can continue to work with him. A fenced yard would be preferable.
