5 years, Male, Large
Hi there. My name’s Goose. I’m 4 years old, about 50 pounds, and I’ve got the cutest floppy ears you’ve ever seen (people tell me all the time). I wasn’t always this happy and hopeful—you see, I had a rough start. I was surrendered through no fault of my own, and when I got here, I was really skinny, tired, and kind of broken on the outside. But I want you to know something… my heart? It never gave up.
Even when I was hungry, even when I was scared, I still wagged my tail when someone came near. I still leaned in for pets. I still believed someone out there would see me and love me forever.
I’m a pretty fun guy, if I do say so myself. I love to play, and sometimes I get so excited I get a little mouthy—so I’d probably do best in a home without small kids. I’m crate trained and house trained, but honestly? I just want to be where you are. If you go into the next room, I’m going to follow. Not because I’m nosy (okay, maybe a little), but because I love you that much.
After we play, I’ll curl up with you for a cuddle. I’m really good at cuddles—I think it’s my superpower. I used to live with another dog, so I might like a dog friend, but I’d need to meet them first to make sure we’re a good match.
I don’t need much—just a family who will be home often, who will give me belly rubs, toss a toy or two, and remind me every day that I’m safe and loved. In return, I promise I’ll follow you, protect you, and love you for the rest of my life.
If you think we could be each other’s missing piece, I’ll be waiting—with my tail wagging and my heart wide open.
Love,
Goose 🐾❤️
