Hi, I’m Katrina.
I enjoy sunsets, long walks in the park, and scratches all day long.
I’m calm and quiet indoors, but outside? That’s where I shine. I love walks. Love them. My zoomies are legendary, my fetch skills are “aspirational,” and I am 97% confident I could dominate an agility course with just mild trash talk. I just need to find that course.
I live with my foster sister Poe, who is 13 and a proud curmudgeon. I still try to play with her anyway, and—against her will—I have successfully added a little pep back into her step. You’re welcome, Poe. With other dogs, I’m submissive but I’m not afraid to ball out. I’m also housebroken—gold star for me.
I do have some separation anxiety, but my foster mom and I are working on it. If I get my long walks, have toys and bones available, and the trash is secured, I’m getting better. Also, important note: if foster mom leaves driftwood out, I assume it is for me. That’s not anxiety—that’s logic.
I’m totally fine sleeping in my kennel at night, but during the day I do best free-range with a window so I can monitor the neighborhood and judge strangers quietly.
I am affectionate, loyal, hilarious, and almost definitely smarter than you.
Don’t take it personally.
It’s fine
