Allie didn’t come to us with confidence or joy or trust.

She came to us pregnant, terrified, and doing her absolute best with the little bit of hope she had left.

When her tiny body couldn’t deliver her eight puppies safely, she went into an emergency C-section — and this little fighter pulled through like the brave mama she is. Her pups are healthy, thriving, and six are already adopted.

Now it’s her turn.

And honestly? She deserves a soft landing more than anyone.

Allie is gentle, quiet, and unbelievably sweet, but you’ll only see that once she decides you’re safe. Someone hurt her once — you can see it in her eyes — and trust doesn’t come easy for her. She’ll take a few steps forward, then have moments where she wants to hide again. That’s trauma talking… not her heart.

But oh, her heart.

Once she lets you in… she is the kind of dog that melts into you.

The kind that follows you gently from room to room.

The kind that learns to smile again — literally — once she realizes she’s finally home.

What Allie Needs

• A patient human who will let her open up at her own pace

• A secure yard (she’ll retreat when she gets unsure)

• Structure, gentle routines, and consistency

• A calm home — she’s not a barker, not demanding, just sensitive

• And ideally… adoption with one of her puppies, because that’s where she feels safest

She’s great with dogs and cats, uses a doggie door and potty pads, and she does wonderful in the car. She’s not “high maintenance”… she’s just a soul that needs time.
