Update: Elpitha is super sweet and friendly. She loves being pet and she starts purring as soon as you go near her. She has a good appetite. She uses her litter box. She will happily live in a home with no other pets. She doesn’t immediately get along with other cats but with a slow introduction she has and is currently sharing a room with 3 other cats without any issues. She does not feel comfortable around dogs.
One of our dedicated volunteers with A Pathway to Hope noticed a cat frequently meowing near their workplace in the city. Over time, our volunteer went outside to check on her and quickly realized she was a stray—yet incredibly friendly, sweet, and eager for affection. Each time she spotted our volunteer, she would run right up, follow them around, and soak up every bit of attention and petting she could get.
Sadly, it was clear she was not being fed and was extremely thin. Wanting to give her the care and safety she deserved, our volunteer brought her home to foster and officially welcomed her into the A Pathway to Hope family.
This beautiful 7-year-old calico is now available for adoption and ready for a second chance at a loving home. She has so much affection to give and is hoping someone will give her the chance she deserves.
Will you be the lucky one to give her a forever home? 🐾💛
