Poor little Gizmo was dumped at just 2 weeks old with no momma or siblings - he barely had teeth! Luckily, a good Samaritan saved him and he Facebooked his way into our rescue. Talk about a spunky little boy! Gizmo has no fear and is a very active, sweet puppy with a huge personality. He has thrived while in foster, gaining weight and learning his social skills. He's learning to play with the foster siblings as long as they tolerate him - puppy energy is not their thing. Mostly he gets by with playing with his chewys, his human, and ALL of the toys. He's learned doggy door pretty well and still needs to work on potty training, He is used to be confined in a small room, but not in a crate.
What breed is he? Lucky dog - that's his breed! Actually, the DNA results show 17 breeds with the top 5 being frenchie (19%), pitbull (13%), chihuahua (13%) Boston terrier (12%) and dachshund (10%). He's just a piebald all American boy!
Gizmo is all puppy - with all the good and bad that goes with that! He is easily excitable and still puppy nips, so play with small children should be approached with caution. He has not been exposed to cats, so who knows there? He needs continued work on social behaviors, potty training, etc - everything a toddler would need to know! Speaking of kids, Gizmo would make a great family dog! He really needs a fenced yard as well?
