Meet Manos 💙

Manos has quite a journey behind him—and now he’s ready for a loving forever home.

After one of our volunteers rescued his mama, she suspected there were older kittens still nearby. She began asking residents in the area and even showed a photo of mom to a school security guard at a nearby school. He recognized her and mentioned seeing two to three older kittens that appeared to be part of her family.

Our volunteer patiently continued to monitor the area for weeks and was eventually able to safely rescue one male kitten, who has since been adopted. Still determined to help the rest of the family, she took a further step and knocked on nearby doors to see if anyone had additional information.

That’s when a kind family shared that they had been feeding the stray mom and her three kittens. With the cold, snowy weather approaching, they compassionately brought the final two kittens indoors to keep them safe. Unfortunately, they were unable to keep them long-term and were preparing to put them back outside.

Thanks to their honesty and our volunteer’s dedication, Manos was rescued just in time and welcomed into our A Pathway to Hope family. 🐾

Manos is a sweet, affectionate, and loving boy with a great appetite. He is fully litter-box trained, enjoys human attention, and has a gentle, friendly personality that makes him a joy to be around. After everything he’s been through, he deserves nothing less than a safe, warm home and a family of his own.
