Say hello to Rocky, a 4-year-old black Pit Bull with a heart as big as his smile! Rocky is friendly, full of love, and ready to find his forever family.

This happy boy is bilingual — he understands both English and Spanish commands! Whether you say “sit” or “siéntate,” he’s all ears (especially if you’ve got treats in hand — he’s very treat motivated!).

Rocky has an enthusiastic, playful spirit and loves to burn energy playing tug-of-war or chasing squeaky toys. He’s great with other high-energy dogs who can keep up with his fun-loving personality.  Although, in Rocky's short time at the kennel, his calm couch potato snuggly side is showing more and more.  He enjoys nothing more than a nap on the couch with his favorite people.

When it’s time to head out, Rocky shines on the leash — he’s a great walker who enjoys exploring without pulling you along for the ride.  He may get a little excited if approaching new people or other dogs and will sometimes pull to go see them but he is very eager to please and will settle down quickly with a reminder.  Check out Rocky leading the CRCPA float at the St Patty's Day Parade at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18LCNQ8VrL/.  Rocky was a complete angel with all the loud noises, kids, other dogs, crowded streets, people in crazy costumes, bagpipes behind us, etc.  Rocky is just a chill fabulous dog that will do anything you ask of him.
