5 years, Female, Large
From heartbreak to melting hearts- Taylor's transformation is astounding! Years of neglect led to mange, skin lesions, internal and external infection, and extreme malnutrition. Yet one thing NEVER changed---> her smile! Taylor is full of joy. She is so laid back, there has never been a need to leash her when grooming, in vehicles, etc. She's never met a stranger. Her absolute favorite thing is car rides! She taught herself how to unroll the window, knowing her furever family is out there just waiting to find her. Taylor was only recently fully released from her hold so that she had ample time (months!) for her skin to heal, followed by eye surgery to correct inverted eyelids on lower and upper eyes- followed again by months on hold to ensure that no additional corrections were needed. All the while she remained in a foster home where she had plenty of pup and human friends of all sizes, so we know she gets along well with everyone! While in foster, she is on a regular grooming schedule with a professional groomer and spends time with foster's 3 family poodles (large, medium and small), but her favorite playmate is a medium hound-dog taken in by the same foster (who was rescued by none other than NovaStar!). We can't wait for you to meet Taylor!
