Meet Hopper 🐾
Hopper is a 4-year-old, 79 lb mixed breed with a soft coat and an even softer heart. While he was originally thought to be a Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain Dog mix, we believe he may have some Collie in there as well — whatever the mix, he’s 100% a sweet, gentle soul.
Hopper recently lost his person, and he’s still trying to make sense of it all. Right now, he can be a little cautious and unsure in new situations, but it doesn’t take long to see the loving dog he truly is. He’s curious, quietly affectionate, and clearly wants to connect — he just needs a little time to feel safe again.
Once he settles in, Hopper’s personality really shines. He’s a cuddly boy who enjoys attention (especially from visitors!), rides well in the car, and has a nice medium energy level — happy to be active but just as content relaxing with his people.
Hopper is house trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash, making him an easy addition to the right home. He’s reported to be good with kids and other dogs, and he does not struggle with separation anxiety.
Because of his size and breed mix, Hopper would do best in a home with space to stretch out rather than an apartment setting.
Hopper is the kind of dog who will form a deep, loyal bond with his person — he just needs someone willing to give him the time and understanding he deserves as he adjusts to this new chapter.
If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion to share your life with, Hopper just might be your guy.
