I’m a sweet little mama who has been learning to trust people again. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was very scared. I spent my days pacing and couldn’t relax enough to lie down. But with time, patience, and love, I’ve finally started to feel safe.  Now you can find me cuddled up on the couch, soaking up affection from my foster family. I absolutely LOVE having my head rubbed, and I’ll even insist that you keep going if you stop too soon!  I also do the cutest little pitter-patter with my tiny paws whenever treats are involved—and I’m always happy to accept as many as you’re willing to share!

I’m crate trained and only have small accidents when I’m feeling frightened or stressed. One of my favorite things is having a backyard to enjoy. I used to pace around the fence line, but I’ve learned that it’s much better to stretch out in the sunshine and recharge.  I get along well with my foster dog sibling. As for cats, I’m not sure how I feel about them yet since I haven’t met one.  What I’m really looking for is a family with lots of love, patience, and kindness—a place where I can continue to feel safe and secure. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion, I just might be your girl.

Pepperidge is Heartworm positive. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
