WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals’ lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care.
Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

He's food motivated, playful and a joy to be around. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will bring lots of love and laughter to your home, Chipper is your guy
Medical:
Chipper recently underwent successful PDA surgery and is recovering beautifully. He is currently taking Pimobendan and will need a follow-up with a veterinary cardiologist this fall.
