Anjou

Domestic Shorthair

5 months, Female, Medium

Named after the French pear, Anjou is a beautiful young tabby girl with a sweet face, bright eyes, black-tufted ears, and a personality that shines. Her feral mom was raising Anjou and her four siblings in a greenhouse, but when summer's heat approached, the kittens were brought into foster care with Meow Village. Now that her brothers and sisters have all found homes, it is her turn.

Anjou is a loving, people focused kitten who enjoys being involved in whatever her people are doing. She is talkative and expressive, with a face that always seems to be sharing her thoughts. She loves interactive play and can often be found chasing strings, springs, and wand toys with enthusiasm.

Curious and adventurous, Anjou enjoys exploring her surroundings and investigating every new sight and sound. She also has an independent streak that gives her confidence and charm. She is happy to entertain herself, but she is never far from her people or cat friends. Anjou loves action and attention, but is also happy to curl up beside you for a nap at your desk or snuggle with you at night.

Anjou will thrive (even, "pear" well!) in a home with another young, playful cat or kitten to share games, adventures, and companionship. If you are looking to add a beautiful, affectionate, and spirited kitten to your family, Anjou may be the perfect match. For more information, contact Anjou’s foster, Tanya, by text at 503-317-4728.

NOTE: Meow Village is an all foster-based rescue, so all questions and inquiries about the kitties should be directed to their foster families. Thank you!
