Meet Tinkerbell!

Tinkerbell is the sweetest little pup with a big personality and an even bigger love for cuddles. She’s a mellow girl who gets along with dogs and cats, though she would probably prefer a home without a super energetic dog bouncing around her. She’s fully potty trained and crate trained, but she doesn’t need a crate. At night, she sleeps on her own bed on her foster’s bedroom floor, tucked in with a soft blanket. And when it’s time to eat, she has one very important rule: her meal goes on her bed. She’ll sit politely and wait for it, too. Tinkerbell loves having her person home. When they leave, she may voice her opinion about it, but she’s learning that they always come back. She doesn’t destroy anything; she just has a lot to say! All this little Tinkerbell wants is a cozy place, a soft blanket, and someone to love her.

Tinkerbell has IVDD, which stands for Intervertebral Disc Disease. It’s a condition where one or more of the cushioning discs between a dog’s spinal vertebrae deteriorate, bulge, or rupture and put pressure on the spinal cord. She has received laser treatments, the latests one in May, and unless she shows symptoms, does not need further treatment. This is something that you may want to discuss with your vet before adopting. It does cause her to walk with a different gait than most dogs, but she is not currently showing any mobility issues.
