WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals’ lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care. 

Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

BREED: Mini Goldendoodle

DOB: Jun 28, 2026 (10 weeks)

GENDER: Male

HOME RECOMMENDATION: Snorlax will thrive with patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement as she continues learning and growing. He would love a family who can give him lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and opportunities to explore his new surroundings. With continued guidance and training, this little one is sure to become a loving and loyal companion and a wonderful member of the family.

PERSONALITY: Snorlax is very sweet puppy and has the cutest smile. He has a good balance of puppy energy but also likes to snuggle or just chill in his puppy bed. He definitely enjoys chasing after kids, playing tug of war, playing fetch but can also entertain himself a little as well. While he enjoys being around people, he appears to handle being left by himself in his playpen as well for short periods of time. He appears to be very smart and alert!

TRAINING: Snorlax is working on potty training and learning to follow a consistent routine. As long as one is consistent in taking him out, he is pretty good about doing his business outside and has had minimal accidents in the house. With patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement, he will continue to build confidence and become a wonderful little companion.

WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Some large-scale breeding programs occasionally have dogs and puppies they are unable to place due to medical needs, birth defects, appearance differences, or simply because there is not enough demand. WISE partners with groups working to help provide these dogs with a second chance rather than an uncertain future.
