Wise Animal Rescue is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals’ lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care.
Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

HOME RECOMMENDATION: Jerzee would do best in a home where someone is around often or where her family can provide plenty of companionship, attention, and enrichment throughout the day. A family that can help her feel secure and included will be important. Jerzee does wonderfully in daycare, where she enjoys being around people, staying busy, and interacting with the staff. She is happiest when she can be close to her people and would love a forever home where she can be a true part of the family.
PERSONALITY: Jerzee is a calm, affectionate girl who simply loves being close to her people. She has a sweet and loving personality and is ready to become someone’s devoted best friend. Whether she’s enjoying a sunny afternoon by your side or settling in for a quiet evening at home, Jerzee is happiest when she can share life with her favorite people. She would make a wonderful, loving companion for someone looking for a loyal pup to cherish.
KIDS: Unknown, has not lived in a home with kids
DOGS: Jerzee can be selective with other dogs. She would do best with an experienced owner who understands dog behavior and can provide proper structure and guidance.

TRAINING: Jerzee knows all of her basic commands and has a great foundation of training. She is a smart girl who is eager to please and should continue to thrive with positive reinforcement and consistency.
WHY DID THEY COME TO K9Nanni: Jerzee was surrendered after their owner experienced medical issues and could no longer care for her. She is now living at the facility and is ready to find the forever family who will love her.
