Currant is a spunkie, friendly girl who will melt your heart despite her hard start to life. She and her brother, Tomatillo, were discovered when she emerged from her under-the-porch home to ask some UD students for food during a stretch of snow and frigid temperatures. Despite this tough beginning, she is a happy girl and lets everyone know that with her constant purring. Currant loves playing fetch, chasing after her brother and foster siblings, watching birds from the top of the cat tree, and snoozing with her brother or in her foster mom's lap. She is a little hesitant when she meets new people, but it's never long before she is in their lap and giving her new friend lots of nose boops.
