Scout has been through more than any dog ever should. A few years ago, our amazing trainer Bridget received a heartbreaking call from his family: Scout's owner had made an appointment to euthanize him that afternoon because he no longer wanted him. Bridget reached out to our team, and without hesitation, we said yes.

After entering rescue, Scout was attacked by a visiting dog in his temporary foster home, leaving him with serious injuries that required drains to heal. Understandably, all of these life changes left him with some trust issues—but as you can see, those days are long behind him.

Today, Scout is affectionately known as our little brown bear. He is the sweetest dog who loves going for walks, playing fetch, and showering his favorite people with hugs and kisses. ❤️

As an added bonus, Scout comes with the continued support of his incredible foster mom, who is also a professional behavior trainer, helping ensure a smooth transition into his forever home.
