Penelope is a grey and white domestic long hair cat who has lived her life outdoors until now. Born in the yard of a senior citizen who loved her and her sister very much, they were a familiar sight on the street. Penelope and her sister would sit on the front porch with the older owner, sharing petting and affection. Unfortunately, her senior passed away in 2021 (during the Pandemic), after which Penelope and her sister were fed by a neighbor’s family. When the neighbor moved, her sister was adopted, but Penelope remained, suddenly alone. With no one else to care for her, we agreed to welcome Penelope to Hope’s Home’s first Tiny Cat House.
Penelope is a beautiful, young, independent cat who is affectionate once she gets to know you. She loves to be petted and scratched behind the ears. She is also very playful and loves to chase toys. Penelope is FIV positive, but she is not aggressive. She loves other cats but could be an only cat also. She would love quiet home with an owner who spends a lot of time with her.
Penelope is a sweet and loving girl who deserves her forever home. She would be a great family member for the right person/people, who could give her the time and space to adjust to another big change in her life. She deserves a chance to live a life filled with love, good food, soft beds, and toys.
