Fanta is in search of her patient furever home. She is still shy but really loves attention and when she goes outside she leaps around like "Rudolph" and she crosses her front legs 😍💕🥰

We want her to find the perfect home to continue to come out of her shy self and learn how much love there is ready for her with a family.

- She is on the small side at 60lbs. She could gain a few more lbs.
- Best around older, calm, dog savvy kids only.
- Fenced yard is a must as she is a dog that is easily spooked and may panic and can be a flight risk until settled in with her family.
- Coexists peacefully with cats in the foster home
- Would love a young dog who will play with her to continue for her to adjust in her new life and learn how to "dog".
- As long as she has a dog companion she is fine home alone. 

Some of her favorite things - Loves her food but prefers to eat outside. Plays with toys outside and loves playing with her friends outside. She loves getting affection and sleeping.
Her perfect family would be - A female to hang out with and another dog companion. She is getting used to males and older, calmer children. It will take time for her to trust them.
She definitely needs a dog friend that will play and sleep near her. She needs a home with LOTS of patience. She is a VERY sweet girl, but still shy learning this new world she is in after living in a cage or barn producing puppies the past couple years without much human interaction and knowing love. 

She will go outside by herself but still needs to be lead by leash to come inside. She does like to take walks but has a stubborn Berner attitude and wants to walk to the right of you and preferably on the grass. Great walker doesn't pull and walks nicely.

Things she doesn't like - Ceiling fans, whatever it is with these she is very unsure of.

Other important things to know about her - She will wake you up when she has to go outside or wants breakfast, not too early 😊  She prefers dry food with a couple spoonfuls of wet food. 

* Please, note: This sweet girls new family must be willing to travel for pick up. Adopters must be willing to pick up at their foster home in Kalamazoo, MI. Unfortunately, we cannot arrange transportation to forever homes.

* For those interested, we are sending all applications that meet the dogs needs to their foster mom. Please be patient, as we review all applications. Their new home will be chosen based on who can meet needs the best. Please note, an application must be submitted & approved prior to a "meet & greet".

* She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines + microchipped.
