๐ Warren Michigan (Adopter must travel to meet/pick up)
Meet Windy, a 1 year, 10 month old spayed female Bernese Mountain Dog / Husky mix with the happiest heart and the cutest full-body wiggle youโve ever seen. ๐
Windy is the sweetest girl โ incredibly gentle with her people and full of playful, joyful energy. When you walk into the room, her whole body wiggles, she flashes the biggest smile, and then immediately flops down for belly rubs. Itโs impossible not to fall in love.
๐ About Windy:
1 year, 10 months
Spayed Female
Bernese Mountain Dog / Husky Mix
65 lbs
Located in Warren, MI
Thick, short Husky-style coat
๐ก Her Ideal Home:
A highly active family
A secure fenced yard (high prey drive โ she loves to chase!)
A young, playful dog companion
No cats
Windy absolutely loves to run, chase, and play. She would thrive with a large, energetic dog who wants a playmate. She does not do well with dominant female dogs and would benefit from a confident but friendly canine sibling.
She has a high prey drive and would likely chase wildlife, so a fenced yard is strongly recommended for her safety.
๐ถ Personality & Quirks:
Loves long walks and is very good on leash
Chases balls and toys with enthusiasm
Enjoys chewing on bones
Sleeps happily on her dog bed
Very gentle when taking treats
Not destructive when left alone (does well up to 5 hours)
Doesnโt require a crate but may enjoy one as a cozy space
Windy is still warming up to sudden loud noises (like dropped items or the vacuum) and may flinch at first, but she continues to build confidence.
And true to her Husky roots โ she has the vocals and the spunky personality to match! Sheโs expressive, playful, and full of life โ but without the typical puppy chewing or potty-training struggles.
When sheโs done playing, sheโs all about snuggles and belly rubs. She loves both men and women and bonds closely with her people.
Windy is truly the best of both breeds โ the loyalty and sweetness of a Berner paired with the athleticism and spark of a Husky. She just wants an active family who will run with her, play with her, and then curl up together at the end of the day.
