We can't get enough of this handsome warrior, finding the confidence he needed to overcome a rough start to life in the welcoming home of his amazing foster family. He's got a pretty low key personality, happy to just lounge around the house, take naps in his foster brother's bedroom, and sit at the top of the stairs surveying his kingdom. It took a moment for Matthew to trust humans, but once he felt safe, we discovered he's got the biggest heart and absolutely adores people... especially the awesome teenage boy he's deemed his official purrson! He runs down the stairs to greet you and is so, so appreciative to have a warm home, people who adore him and a full belly. Oh, and he really likes cat toys and will run around the house triumphantly with the fuzzy mouse in his mouth. This boy really finds his joy being around you and will become your best cuddle companion. If he wasn't already the coolest cat in town, Matthew had to have a broken tooth removed, which gives him that sassy Elvis lip curl. He's great with cat friendly dogs, but because he's FIV+, he can't be placed in a home with other cats and he must stay indoors. He's very healthy and the vet expects that, with regular check ups, a healthy diet and lots of kisses, Matthew will live a very long life. He's really such special soul and his foster family even said they would keep him in a heart beat if they didn't have resident cats. He'll be very hard to say goodbye to, but deserves a wonderful family of his own, where he will be spoiled and cherished for the rest of his life.
