WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals’ lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, othiss require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care.
Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rathis goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.
NAME: Kiki
BREED: Pomeranian
DOB: 10/16/23
Home Recommendation: Kiki is a sweet dog looking for a fresh start! Kiki would do best with a family that is able to work with him on his training and has experience with past dog ownership. Kiki would also do best in a house vs. an apartment while he works on his training.
Personality:Kiki loves to walk and will keep any family active! Though he is little, he has a lot of energy and can walk for miles. He also loves to play with toys. Kiki is high energy, so training will be very important for his well being. He could use a dog companion to help him learn the ropes.
KIDS: No, Kiki would do best in a home without kids so he can master his manners.
DOGS: Yes
CATS: Unknown
TRAINING: He is great on leash! Kiki is also working on crate training and doing well. Kiki needs to work on basic puppy skills and behaviors such as ‘leave it’.
WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Kiki was surrendered by his previous owner who could not take on the responsibility of a dog with a busy schedule. Kiki is a great dog who with a little training will be someone’s new best friend.
