Meet Lucy! This sweet 7-month-old hound mix is already showing off her impressive skills. She knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and here! Lucy is crate-trained, house-trained, and great on a leash. She’s wonderful with kids, dogs, and cats, and we believe she’d thrive in a home with other dogs or as the only pet. Lucy loves car rides, walks, and especially enjoys relaxing in her crate for a good snooze.

Lucy’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was found wandering a dollar store parking lot, with a blue rope tied too tightly around her neck, and was stained in her own urine. Fur Sisters stepped in after a kind family got her to safety, and placed her in a loving foster home, where she gets along great with two large dogs. 

Lucy is ready to find her forever home where she can continue to shine ✨

• We are not a shelter.

• Local adopters only.

• All our dogs are in private fosters.

• We only set up meets with approved adopters.

• If you want to meet our adoptable dogs, many pups will be at Brewhound for Fur Sisters Friday on the first Friday of every month from 6-8 pm.

• Follow our socials to stay up to date on the latest events that our dogs will be attending.

• Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for each dog, it is not first come, first served.

• We do not "hold" dogs.

If you are looking for a dog, we recommend filling out an application and indicating what you are looking for in a dog. Our volunteers work hard to match approved applicants with the best dogs for their lifestyle.
