Hi, I’m Maizy! 🐾

I’m a 5-year-old Lab mix, and I weigh about 54 pounds—just the right size for adventures and cuddles, if you ask me! I’ve got a sweet, easygoing personality, and I’m really hoping to find a forever home with a family who’ll love me as much as I’ll love them.

I do well with dogs around my size or bigger—I like a playmate who can keep up! Little dogs aren’t really my thing. I’ve lived with cats before, and after a good sniff, I was happy to leave them alone.

When it comes to food, I’m not picky. In fact, I get really excited at mealtime and eat a little too fast, so I use a slow feeder to help me pace myself. It’s just one of my quirks!

I’m also a bit of a character—I make the funniest little noises when I want attention, almost like I’m trying to have a conversation with you. It’s my special way of saying, “Hey, don’t forget about me!”

I’d love a home with an active family who will take me on walks, hikes, or just play in the yard. I’m happiest when I get to be part of the action—and then curl up next to you when it’s time to relax.

I’m reportedly crate and house trained, which means I’ve got some good habits already! But like any rescue dog, I might need a little time to adjust to a new home, so please be patient if I have a few accidents at first. I promise I’ll do my best to learn quickly.

I’m spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my shots—healthy, happy, and ready for my next chapter.
