a year, Male, Extra Large
At just one year old and already 80 pounds of lovable goofball, Spike is a Lab and Mastiff mix with a heart (and head!) as big as his paws. Surrendered because his energy was a little too much for his previous owner, Spike is now looking for a home that can match his zest for life—and maybe has a yard for all his zoomies.
Spike is basically an oversized baby. He loves to lean on you (literally) and will happily sit at your feet—or on them—while gazing up at you with those sweet, soulful eyes. His favorite thing in the world? A good ol’ game of fetch. Give him a ball, and you’ve got a best friend for life.
Spike would do best with someone who understands large breed dogs and is ready to help him continue learning his manners as he grows into his big body. He’s still a puppy at heart (and brain), and would thrive with consistent training, structure, and playtime.
If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion who gives great leaning hugs and loves a tennis ball more than anything, Spike might just be your perfect match! To meet Spike, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org/adoptable-dogs
