Yang (Cici)

Tabby

10 years, Female, Medium

Yang (CiCi) is a lovely senior Siamese cat with a calm, gentle spirit. She arrived at the rescue with her lifelong housemate, Yen, after their owner could no longer care for them due to health challenges. Together, these older girls have adjusted with quiet dignity and are now hoping for a soft landing in a home that understands the beauty of giving senior cats a second chance.

Yang’s personality is as serene as her stunning Siamese features—she’s friendly, easygoing, and enjoys the simple comforts of companionship and routine. She isn’t overly demanding and lives a peaceful, drama-free life, making her an ideal companion for someone seeking a calm and affectionate feline friend.

Because of her age, Yang does have some kidney and urinary health concerns. She will need lifelong monitoring, veterinary support, and a special diet to keep her comfortable and well. While this adds a layer of responsibility, the reward is immeasurable, providing love, stability, and comfort to a cat who deserves to spend her golden years feeling safe and cherished.

If your heart is open to giving a senior cat the gift of a loving home, Yang is waiting for you. She may not have decades ahead, but the love she has to give will fill every day with gratitude and quiet joy.

Medical Note:

Yang has Nystagmus:

Nystagmus in cats is the involuntary rhythmic movement of the cat’s eyeballs. Nystagmus can be a normal reflexive movement, such as eye movement when a cat moves its head side to side (“doll’s eye reflex”).

This can essentially cause vertigo which can lead to vomiting.

This is a condition that can come and go and stay any period of time.
