Remy is a 90-pound chocolate lab with a heart just as big as his paws—and at 8 years young, he’s the perfect blend of mellow and playful. Don’t let his age fool you—this handsome guy still has plenty of pep in his step and loves to play fetch. He’s especially known for his hilarious “butt scratch dance”—a wiggly little routine that’s sure to keep you smiling.

Remy came to us after his owner was hospitalized, and while it wasn’t the life change he expected, he’s handling it like a champ. He’s been around cats, other dogs, and even bunnies and chickens—always with an easygoing nature. Remy does have some food allergies, so his future family should be prepared to keep him on a special diet so he can stay healthy and happy.

Remy’s looking for a home full of love, butt scratches, and maybe a few tennis balls.
