Freckles is a 4 yo female terrier mix with 22 lbs of love to give. She apparently knew a loving home at some point but had a rough time somewhere along the way. She is relearning how to be a part of a family. Freckles gets along great with dogs her size or smaller. She growls and barks at larger dogs. She, for the most part, ignores cats.

Freckles is sensitive to sudden movements and loud noises. She needs a patient adopter to help her with this anxiety. She is learning to walk on a leash but panics as cars pass. She is not to be trusted on a leash in a heavy traffic area.

Freckles loves to be in the yard if you are in the yard. She runs and plays with all the other dogs. She always watches to be sure her human is with her. She has learned to sit in a chair with her foster mom but is still watchful of her movements. 

Unfortunately, she will have some teeth removed later this month due to chewing on a crate during confinement in her previous environment.  Freckles needs a patient adopter with no small children. She has a lot of love to give.
