Meet Jack 🐾

Jack is a 9-month-old, 39-pound terrier/poodle mix (at least that's our best guess!) with a look you'll never forget. With his scruffy beard, expressive eyes, and unique patchwork coat, he's got a one-of-a-kind appearance that turns heads wherever he goes.

Jack can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his friendly personality begins to shine. Like many thoughtful, sensitive dogs, he prefers to get to know people at his own pace and appreciates a gentle approach.

This handsome young guy is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and already knows several commands, including sit, down, and come. Jack enjoys being part of the action with his people and is affectionate and loyal with those he trusts.

Because he is still a young dog learning about the world, Jack will thrive with a family that provides consistency, patience, and continued positive experiences. He appreciates people who understand canine body language and respect a dog's personal space, especially while he's building trust.

Jack would do best in an adult home or one with older, dog-savvy teens who understand respectful interactions with dogs. A quieter home where he can settle into a predictable routine will help him feel his best. While Jack has done well in some one-on-one situations with other dogs, he can be uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs in busy environments, so any canine introductions should be made thoughtfully.

At just 9 months old, Jack has so much potential ahead of him. With his unique looks, good manners, and loyal nature, he's ready to find a family that appreciates sensitive dogs and will give him the time and understanding he needs to blossom into the wonderful companion we know he can be.
