Scrooge is a stunning, classic German Shepherd who is approximately 1–2 years old and weighs 71 pounds. He came to Canine Collective after his owner experienced financial hardship and is now looking for a committed, understanding forever home. This handsome boy has a sweet temperament and is still very much a puppy at heart. As a strong, young shepherd, he will thrive with continued training, structure, and regular exercise. With consistency and leadership, Scrooge has all the makings of a deeply loyal and devoted companion.

Scrooge is dog selective. He has lived with other dogs in the past with thoughtful management (using gates and separation when needed), and he has done well with some dogs — including a volunteer’s dog — but he can be reactive toward others. Because of this, he would do best as an only dog or in a shepherd-savvy home willing to manage introductions carefully and set clear boundaries.
