Jangers is a 7-year-old, 75+ pound pit bull with a heart as big as he is. He came into rescue through no fault of his own—his family loved him dearly but had to surrender him when they moved and couldn’t take him along. Now, this gentle guy is hoping for a second chance at a forever home.

Jangers is sweet, calm, and affectionate, the kind of dog who’s happy just being near his people. He does great with children and is fully housetrained, making him an easy addition to a loving home. In his previous home, he lived with another dog, and while he may do well with canine friends, a meet-and-greet is recommended to be sure it’s the right fit.

He’s used to having a large yard where he could stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors—and he took his “neighborhood watch” duties seriously, diligently keeping squirrels and groundhogs in check 🐿️. Jangers would love a home where he can continue to enjoy some space, regular walks, and plenty of love.
