Elsa is a senior female bulldog mix that was taken by humane enforcement after negligent care. She received injection treatments for her heartworms and had a benign mass removed from her stomach. She's put on a little weight slowly but has a bright spirit. She is excited about car rides and is really quiet on them (so far). She is tolerant of other dogs and likes to play with toys. She would really love a family to take her for short walks and enjoy some couch hippo time.

Elsa is Heartworm positive. She has undergone injection therapy to treat her disease and is awaiting a negative re-test. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
