At just 10 weeks old, McDonald is the perfect mix of snuggly sweetheart and confident little explorer. This adorable Jack Russell–type mix may be small, but his personality is already shining bright.

McDonald absolutely loves his people. He’s happiest curled up under your chin or tucked into your lap, soaking up all the affection he can get. He’s a true cuddle bug—but don’t let that fool you—he’s also playful, curious, and ready to take on the world. He holds his own with his foster family’s spunky Pomeranian and is interested in both dogs and cats, making him a great candidate for a home with furry friends. Like any puppy, McDonald is still learning the ropes. He’s working on potty training using puppy pads and is in that typical “mouthy” stage, but he responds well to redirection with toys. He would love a home with another dog to help him feel secure and continue building his confidence—though it’s not required, it would certainly make his transition easier.
