Meet Purdy — our goofy, brilliant, oversized baby 

Purdy is an almost 2-year-old stocky Lab-type mix weighing 68 pounds of love, muscle, and laughter. She’s spayed, potty trained, crate trained, and already knows tricks — beauty and brains!  Our kennel manager (who does not throw around compliments lightly) called her a sweetheart — and that says everything.

This girl is: Tennis ball obsessed; Completely enchanted by bubbles; Fascinated by the laser; And hilariously… scared of her own shadow  Purdy is very active and incredibly intelligent. She has that joyful, slightly clumsy “big puppy” energy — sometimes a little bull-in-a-china-shop, but always with the sweetest intentions. Check out her video at the end of the pics and you get a better appreciation for her sweet personality.  She’s strong, athletic, and would thrive with a family who enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing her training. With structure and exercise, she truly shines. Underneath that powerful build is a soft, affectionate heart. She wants to please, loves being part of the action, and settles nicely in her crate when it’s time to relax. She’s still young, still silly, and still figuring out that shadows are not, in fact, dangerous. And honestly? That just makes her more endearing.
